Today we are going to focus on the upcoming Nintendo games.

Nintendo is going to make a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It was a very popular game as rightfully so. Unfortunately there is no release date but it’s looking good already.

Animal Crossing is another popular Nintendo series and it’s going to have a new entry for the Switch, New Horizons. It will be released in March 20 next year.

Moving on to sports SEGA is going to make another Mario & Sonic at the Olympics. The 2020 Olympics are the first Olympics to have karate, sport climbing, surfing and skateboarding and SEGA isn’t shy to show it off in this trailer. It will release this year in November.

The Legend of Zelda is going to be in a cross over with Crypt of the NecroDancer in Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda. That’s a big title. It’s an indie rogue like rhythm game, developed by Brace Yourself Games, and exclusive to the Switch. Looks fun. Only two days for the release of this game, in June 13 this year.

The popularity of Marvel got to the Nintendo as well with Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. It’s the third installment of the series, developed by Team Ninja. To be released 19th this month.

Astral Chain is an action game developed by PlatinumGames. The games is looking very impressive and stylish. It’s being directed by Takahisa Taura, the lead game designer of Nier: Automata, with character designs of Masakuzu Katsura, a popular manga artist. To be released August 30, this year.

Panzer Dragoon is back with a remake of the original game developed by ForeverEntertainment. Panzer Dragoon was a launch exclusive for the SEGA Saturn. It’s a nice looking rail gun shooter. Released Q4 this year.

Daemon X Machine is a mecha third person shooter by First Studio. The fans of the mecha genre will surely be very happy with this title. Released 13 September this year.

Nintendo will have Contra Anniversary Collection and Contra Rogue Corps, both by Konami. The collection includes 10 classic Contra games, released today. Rogue Corps is a top down shooter. I like the music choice but the graphics don’t look so good. Perhaps it’s a fun game. Released September 24.

No More Heroes will finally get a third game. Take that Valve. This is a very popular hack and slash series by Grasshopper Manufacture. It will be released somewhere in 2020.

Fire Emblem is a very popular tactical RPG series by Intelligent Systems and Three Houses will be the latest entry. It will be the 16th game of the series which speaks for itself regarding how popular it is. It will be released June 26, this year.

Like Contra the Mana series is getting a collection and a new game. The Mana games are popular anime styled action RPG by Square Enix. The Collection of Mana will have classic Mana games and like Contra it will be released today. Trails of Mana is a remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, now in 3D, but keeping the original style. It will be released for the PS4 and Steam as well, in Q1 2020.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is a remake of the classic game of the same name for the Gaemeboy. It will be in 3D but retain the top down game play. It will be released in September 20, this year.

Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is a SRPG by BonusXP. It’s an adaptation of the series of the same name by Netflix. It will be released somewhere this year.

Luigi’s Mansion is a series of games were you capture ghosts. The original was created for the GameCube in 2001 and the second game for the 3DS in 2013. Seems like these games have huge time spans between each other even when well received. Anyway it will be released this year.

  • Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White will have a remastered edition

Overall a very strong set of games for Nintendo Switch.
