Blaster Master was a very successful game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) were you controlled Jason and a tank called Sophia, originally developed and published by Sunsoft. There was a very recent reboot of this game called Blaster Master Zero for the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch and PC, developed by Inti Creates. Today Blaster Master Zero 2 was released.
Here is the trailer:
This is a very solid game with great level design and smooth control. It’s not an easy game but not hard enough for you to be frustrated by unfair difficulty. The sequel is totally original unlike the original reboot.
There’s little doubt whether you should get this game or not. There aren’t many reviews yet but all are positive. If you like platform games this is a must pick. It’s available on Steam for $8.99 with a 10% discount and for the Nintendo Switch for $7.49 with 25% discount. Seems like consoles get the lower price for a change. If you’re fast enough you will also get a free DLC which lets you play with Copen from Luminous Avenger iX.
