Different games are one of my favorites and we have another one today. Apple Slash is an action adventure game developed by Agelvik.

You have the luxury of three colors, red, white and black. Fortunately it’s definitely possible to make a good games with only those colors.

So how to you play this game? According to the developer:

Combine one mechanic with multiple at once with your rotating sword. Take aim and start slashing! Find and combine various skills scattered around in the swamp with your aim to deal powerful attacks.

Watching the video it’s kind of obvious that you control with your key and mouse or dual analog sticks.

There’s a story as well:

In this vast murky marshland, a boy known as ‘Cartboi’ has gone missing. He went out to gather apples, but have yet to return from his daily route. His father is concerned and fears the worst. These are uncertain times, but hope is not lost. With your presence, there is still hope!

The reviews are positive praising the game play, memorable characters and music. In general it seems to be a very decent game. However there’s a catch, it’s a very small game, and the negative in most reviews. The author even admits this is a small game on purpose to see if it would gain track or not. On the other hand it’s only $3.59 with a 10% discount so it’s really cheap.
